    Copper coils housed inside of a heavy duty fiberglass shell creates an "Eddy Current" effect that heats the drum by magnetizing the drum surface. The induction drum heater never makes contact with the drum. Heater is open on top and bottom, and may be lifted over the drum. These high quality trouble-free heaters will keep performing for years. If the drum needs to be maintained at a certain operational temperature for a period of time, consider the Optional Powerlink Energy Regulator which is uniquely designed for use with the Thermosafe Heater.

    • The Thermosafe® Induction Heater is a super efficient drum heater that does not make contact with the drum and provides fast uniform heating. Simply place the heater over the 55 gallon or smaller steel container or lower the container into the heater. Induction heaters use a single coil within the cylinder’s wall, made from a glass reinforced resin. The coil generates heat uniformly around the container wall. Since there are no hot elements, the heater remains cooler than the drum being heated. Type A Heater runs on single phase 240V, 50Hz AC power, direct wire. Heating times depend on the contents. The rate of temperature rise of a typical viscous organic material will be about 15° C per hour. Thermosafe® can be used in hazardous Zones 1 and 2 and is IECEx, ATEX and ETL certified.
