BAYTEC'S closed-head steel pails are designed,manufactured, and certified to meet DOT/49 CFR requirements for hazardous liquids. Strong and durable, they are also ideal for in-plant use. Pails that are often considered unlined, come with the standard Rust-Inhibitor Lining. Standard opening accepts Rieke® FlexSpout® (FLEXSPOUT® not included, order separately, Part# 8FSII.) Sold separately, these 5 Gallon Steel Tight Head Pails come in quantities of 36 per pallet if needed.

5 Gallon Black Pail with Spout Opening for Easy Dispensing This closed head 5 gallon steel pail is made of strong 26 gauge steel and has a rust inhibitor primer interior* to keep sensitive and hazardous products and their integrity intact for a long time, as well as a standard opening that accepts the sold separately Rieke® Flexspout® (SKU 8FSII).
The center has a built-in metal handle for easy handling and pouring. For proper closure, use the appropriate crimping tool (SKU 8FS500). Steel containers for protection: 1A1/Y1.5/200 UN rating for hazardous use
* IMPORTANT NOTE: Rust inhibitor applied to the interior of unlined steel containers is a primer that aids in the inhibition of rust formation during transit and storage; it does not prevent rusting. Drums with rust inhibitors can be stored for up to 30 days without rusting under ideal conditions (clean, low humidity). Consider a phenolic or epoxy lining if empty drums will be stored for extended periods of time or in high humidity conditions.
**Please keep in mind that this black bucket has been designed, manufactured, and certified to meet DOT/49 CFR requirements for storing and shipping hazardous liquids.
