Type II Cans have two openings: one for filling, and one with a flexible metal hose for accurate, spill-free pouring into small openings. Quick-open fills port with an ergonomic left lever for easy filling. Flame arrestors on both openings prevent flashback. On 5 gallon models, vacuum breaker and pour opening open simultaneously for "chug-free" pouring. 1 and 2-gallon models have self-closing pressure relief caps with built-in vacuum breaker.

Stainless steel flame arrester—equipped in all Justrite safety cans—dissipates heat to stop flashback ignition. Sealed lid features automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to protect against explosion. Large label ID zone provides writing space to identify contents, department location, or individual user name. All can size have extra capacity for adding two-cycle engine oil or other additives.
