These shower cap covers are made from black 8 mils woven LDPE, with a 3/8 inch wide elastic band (bandwidth may vary slightly).The heavy-duty elastic hem is securely lock sewn, and keeps cover in place yet allows for easy removal when needed.
This cover is specifically designed for out-of-round open-head 55-gallon drums.

Our 55 gallon drums inevitably develop leaks in the seals after repeated removals. The sun also causes the plastic to become brittle and this can cause small cracks to form. All of this lets moisture into our feed. The Shower Cap Cover is easy to remove and replace and protects the drum from leaking even when the seal has completely fallen away, plus the plastic is protected from the sun. And they stay on the drums even in strong thunderstom winds, we have never had one blow off. Be careful when you take them off as they are somewhat light and may blow away in a strong wind if not weighed down when not on a barrel. We also use these on other feed storage items like the small white containers with large locking lids.
