    Question: I'm replacing the Gamma Seal Lid on my dog food container. Is this the same lid or is there a different one for your dog food containers?

    Question: My O-ring broke, how/where can I get a replacement
    Answer: No. 1... I had the same problem. The O-Ring is the weak point in this system. The only solution I could find was to buy a completely new lid from Gamma Seal.     The 6pk buckets & screw lids are great. When you get them check the secondary seal that's on the screw top. Make sure they don't rest on seams when the top was made.
    If there are seams in plastic smooth over with razor or sanding so the realists on flat area. I will be buying another 6. PS all my long term food is alsoinmylar in the buckets. Before I store in buckets directly I will submerge in water to confirm they're ait tight.

    Items exactly as described. I used the buckets to store 25lb bag of sugar, 20 lb bag of flour. I did also use food safe bags to pour the flour and sugar into inside the buckets. Seal very nicely. I needed something I could easily access without a lot of hassle, these are perfect. If you are like me and purchase flour in 25lb bags and/or sugar in 25lb bags, these will fill your storage needs.

    Considering these buckets have free shipping and are much better quality than Home Depot / Lowes / Harbor Frieght, you can't go wrong. The only thing is when you screw the lids on with desiccant packets inside, DON'T over tighten. The desiccant will absorb oxygen inside the container and draw a very slight vacuum which can really lock the screw-on lids down. It would be cool if the lids had a small screw top vent to make opening easier.

    This is simply the best deal on food grade buckets and gamma lids that you'll find online. These buckets are perfect for long term food storage. If recent events haven't made you start thinking about the wisdom of having some spare bulk food put away for a rainy day I just don't know what will. I wish you lots of luck.

    I was looking for gamma seal food grade buckets and found them here affordably. I hadn't heard about shipping for a while once my order was done, so I emailed them and what I didn't realize is that their supply had been affected by the hurricane. They offered to send a different color bucket in place of the white one to fill the order. Once I accepted, the order came in a reasonable time. They are a great product and Baytec was exceptional to communicate with.

    Okay, the deal was good I thought, however the communication from the company was non-existant. It took nearly 6 weeks for them to ship this. Why? I have no idea. They never contacted me to let me know why it was taking so long to ship my order, but then again, I am still waiting on orders from others that have taken even longer with no contact either. Seems a bad time to expect your orders OR COMMUNICATION from anyone! Items are top notch though.
