In the center of the black, plug-type cap, there is a 2 inch NPS opening that is filled with a solid polyethylene plug. Santoprene gaskets are used on the 2 inch center plug and the 6 inch cap. Santoprene is a long-lasting, high-performance material that can withstand extreme temperatures, chemicals, and flex fatigue.
