Simply lay the strainer on top of an open-head drum or pail and pour your product through the strainer. Unwanted particles stay in the strainer while particle-free product is deposited into your container. Strainer rim is made of heavy-duty HDPE (high-density polyethylene). Nylon mesh strainer screen is available in fine (water & thin solvents), medium (inks) or coarse (paints).

- Answer: 200 Micro Is Fine Mesh, 400 Micros Is Medium Mesh, and 600 Micro is Coarse Mesh

- Answer: Yes. The rim is high-density plastic and the screen is nylon. Provided the strainer is cleaned after its previous use, it can be reused.
- Question: Will this work for hydraulic fluid? By mark D.
- Answer: I would imagine it will. I use mine to strain honey from the comb. I have loaded it up pretty full and it has stood up well. If hydraulic fluid thins when its warm then I would recommend trying it warm but now so hot it melts the strainer. Good luck.

- Answer: I think it would work great. If you're straining the sap after boiling it, this can handle temps up to 240 F. If it helps, many beekeepers use EZ Strainers to filter honey. I would assume this would be a similar application.
